Hey Got Gamers,

In case you forgot, this is the weekend that Mark, Jamie and the rest of our friends at GamerCamp are turning downtown Toronto’s Hotel Ocho transformed into a big indie arcade! All four floors of the hotel will be filled with games from across North America, many which have been favourites at PAX and IndieCade, but are showing in Canada for the very first time!

40 games will be at the Arcade: here are some highlights!

Play the latest build of Super Time Force, the time travelling shooter featuring gorgeous pixel art and meet the team!

First person exploration title Stanley Parable stormed the Steam charts upon its release earlier this month, taking even the developers by surprise! Experience it at Gamercamp and meet developer Davey Wreden of Galactic Cafe!

Zelda with a DDR pad? That’s one way to sum up the immensely fun Crypt of the Necrodancer, a roguelike that sets its action to the rhythm of a pulsing soundtrack! Step it up and also chat with Ryan Clark of Brace Yourself about his inspirations!

Have you wondered what fishing games might be like using real water? Wonder no more as developer Francis Sheridan Pare’s Fishing Game With Actual Water has players catching virtual fish by tapping into bowls of waters: think Guitar Hero with a liquid twist!

And of course, there’s is a brand new and shiny cherry on top. People who go to Gamercamp’s Aracde can get hands on time with the brand new PlayStation 4 and eight PS4 titles!

The Gamercamp Arcade sounds like a remember-able weekend for all of those who go! If you want to go, the Hotel Ocho is located at 195 Spadina Avenue, north of Queen and it runs Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

If you’ve already made up your mind, you can buy your passes early to beat the line!
